Who Is Consumer Guide?

In 1967, Consumer Guide went to press with its first title, Best Buys & Discount Prices. The company's mission, as stated by C.E.O. Lou Weber, was--and is--to "pool combined imaginative resources to create quality information products, both in the written word and other media, and to provide knowledge and enjoyment to the consumer at a reasonable price." By 1982, the publication list exceeded 100 titles.
